PARK SIGNPOST

The Park Signpost is a signpost: it points at what matters and lets you read the road yourself.

The Park Signpost is written, edited, fact-checked, and argued with by one man: Frank Lee Park, Senior Editor.

ABOUT FRANK

Frank Lee Park tries to live up to Poor Richard's maxim, with mixed results. Over the years people have called him Flip, Benji, and C-Note. He never picked any of them, never much liked any of them, and answers to all of them anyway — because a man doesn't get to choose his own nickname. Which is unfortunate, because the one he actually wants is Silence. In thirty years, no one has used it even once. He declines to investigate why.

He drinks his coffee black — with a slab of butter in it, if one is available. He has never once trusted a man who says "trust me."

He shares his house with two cats, Madison and Hamilton. One thinks Ben Franklin hung the moon; the other isn't so sure. Neither pays rent. Both outrank him.

Madison handles research. Hamilton handles quality control. Neither has ever missed a deadline, mainly because neither has ever met one.
